The focus is on the coach hitting #58. But if you watch closely, #58 takes a cheap shot at one of the coaches players. #58 brought it on himself; he thought he'd take out the little guy from behind and no one would notice. Well, he got it, we'll see if he ever tries that tactic again.

I say "almost" support this guy because it is true that a coach can't hit players on the other team; what he should have done is go to 3 or 4 of his goons on the bench and put a bounty on #58.

Sure it was a cheap shot...happens all the time. It is the refs job to sort it out...and from the audio, it says that the refs threw a flag for a late hit.

I don't support that dude AT ALL. He represents everything that is going wrong with our society. First, he is fighting his kid's battles. Kids need to learn that life is unfair and you have to deal with idiots who hit you late. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Second, he is taking a recreational football game WAY TOO SERIOUSLY! And third, he just plain has no manners or a sense of decency. Hitting a kid on an opposing team? Come on! I hope the judge throws the book at this guy!

D2 I'm shocked. First off, as the Ranger/Law Enforcement Officer would attest to, you never leave your wing man (ok that's an Air Force saying, but you get my drift). Second, football is war.....and the young soldiers need to be taught that the hard way. And third, I'd tell the judge it's none of his damn business what takes place on the field, and he gets out of line, he may be in for a cheap shot from behind.

Otherwise, I agree with what you said; as I posted, what he should have done was have one of his goons go in an give 58 a friendly little chop block.

The young soldier was being taught the hard way...he got a late hit after the play. But the colonels never walk onto the battlefield. They stay all nestled up way behind the front lines!

Yeah, the other soldiers....not the colonel should have returned fire. I played soccer and we did it all the time. You take out one of ours and we would take out one of theirs. Hit our goal keeper and they were in SUPER BIG trouble!

The LewMan is comin' at ya from Flagstaff, Arizona (one of my three favorite towns in the U.S., Glenwood Springs, CO and Whitefish, MT being the other two).

And when the LewMan returns, he will...what am I doing referring to myself in the 3rd person? I am shocked to hear D2 post this way, I really thought Jumper had things under control but apparently I was wrong....

When it comes right down to it, does Flagstaff really have a Flag Staff?

Do they have a group of people in charge of everything Flag related?

Just wondering
Other than possibly to pull apart two fighting players, I cant really see a good reason for this to be done. The guy should not have run out there and tackled a kid, There are better ways to handle this.
